It's footage taken from Hugh Heffner's TV show.

Some of the focus is on Heff and his 'beautiful people'

but the choice of musical guests is really very good although most are miming.

I recall hearing that this was Deep Purple's television debut

which includes an interview with Jon Lord

and Ritchie Blackmore giving Heffner a guitar lesson.
