I recall, in Chepstow, Andy asked for 30 seconds silence during 'Sanctuary in Music'

...and you could hear a pin drop.

Sadly, that is not the case here.

Winter's End headliners The Tangent.

They were very under-rehearsed having only got together

for the first time in years the day before the gig.

They didn't have a great sound but I've tried my best

to improve the recording.

This is probably the last of the Winter's End 2023 posts.

Not their finest moment but Tangent live recordings are scarce.
I think Andy Tillison is the real deal.
To hear one of my favourites go here
I once watched him play keyboards from a distance so close
it would probably be illegal during the current pandemic.
Basically stood on the stage next to him.
There are technical issues and fuck ups here but it is still good.
The American crowd get increasingly chatty which doesn't help.
Still, if you are a prog fan, I urge you to check out the albums.
Luke Machin is a brilliant guitarist
as is Geir Marius Bergom Halleland from Wobbler
who guests on the last track.
