John Cale
Kulturzentrum Tollhaus
Karlsruhe, Germany
February 16th 2023

Audience recording.
Medium plus sound quality but I think the taper got the best out of it
so no worthwhile improvements came to mind.
It's a very good gig and it's nice to see Cale still on the road in his 80s.

John Cale
Schwabinger Bräu
München, Germany
February 28th 1983

Slightly remastered FM broadcast.
Really good if you are into John Cale obviously
but I'd recommend this to anyone who enjoys solo performances.
If you're into Peter Hammill, Joni Mitchell or Bob Dylan etc.
you might like this even if you are not a 'natural' Cale/Velvets fan.

Lou Reed and John Cale
Songs for Drella live (1990)

As a follow on from my previous post I thought I'd share this.
It's a film made by channel 4 and it's in mp4 format.
Lou and John perform the entire album.
Songs for Drella is a tribute to Andy Warhol and it is very much
something that falls into the 'soundtrack of my life' catagory.

Our castaway today is:
former Velvet Undergrounder/avant-garde composer John Cale.
I like this 'reluctant Welshman' a lot
and I really enjoyed this broadcast.
