KISS
Gaumont Theatre
Ipswich, England
October 11th-1984

Remastered FM.
With the fabulous Bruce Kulick on lead guitar.
I usually view Paul's intros as kitsch-dumb
but here they are just cringeworthy and misogynist.
Shame he thinks that's a good idea.

KISS
L'Olympia Bruno Coquatrix
Paris, France
May 22nd 1976

Been listening to a few recordings from the 76 era.
All were diabolical.
Here is my remaster of the least diabolical.
I did a lot of work on this because I am a fan.
Not sure it was worth the effort.
from the online KISS concert history site:
An afternoon show with the concert starting at 3PM
and the band having to be out of the venue by 6:30PM
to allow for comedian Jerry Lewis' scheduled performance.
(he was booked May 18-31)

KISS
Western Springs Stadium
Auckland, New Zeland
December 3rd 1980

This was Ace's last gig with the band until the 96 reunion
and it is well circulated in various forms.
I saw them a couple of months earlier in Stafford.
Raucous and shambolic at times, as usual with KISS, but great fun.
I tried to improve the sound, partly, by giving Gene's bass
and Eric's kick drum a bit more prominence.
This SBD source has a few skips presumably where glitches
have been edited out but nothing too bad in general.

KISS
Municipal Auditorium
Sioux City, IA
December 30th 1982

A remastered SBD from the 'Creatures of the Night' era.
Vinnie Vincent is a great guitar player
but wastes his solo spot with the usual rock noodling.
I guess it's what the kids wanted.
Nice gritty performance from the painted quartet.

KISS
The Summit DVD
Houston, Texas
Setember 2nd 1977

The painted posers at their finest during the Love Gun tour.
I think Peter Criss was the best singer in the band.
He's the only one with any real rock n roll grit.
Peter singing 'Hooligan' is the highlight here for me.
Sound is a bit rough/video is a bit grainy.
Generally good fun though...will Ace stay upright?
Only time will tell.

Titus
