Roger Waters
Stadio Olimpico
Rome, Italy
July 28th 2013

Reposted from May 2021

I am told this is an audience recording.
Sounds like a pro recorded SBD with ambient stage mics to me
with crowd noise reduced to stage mic pick-up levels.
Still I'm told our valient taper got a spot near the speakers
where nobody else was wihin meters.
I doubt there is a better bootleg of this tour.
The version of 'Run Like Hell' is really good.
Crank it up and you're there.

Titus

I assume this was a streamed concert rather than TV.
I've converted it to DVD.

The stadium is a spectacular venue.

Roger Waters
Piazza Napoleone
Lucca
July 12th 2006

Great FM recording.
Five days after Syd Barrett died.
which makes 'Wish You Were Here' very touching.
Our source said:
This is all has been broadcast, which is the first set.
Apparently, Waters did not allow the radio to broadcast
the most interesting part, where Nick Mason joined the band
for Dark Side of the Moon.
Hope that a complete audience version can be available soon.
As usual, I've edited out the nasty dj chatter
(this time there were even TWO dj's talking bullshit, instaed of one!)
to let you enjoy the music only. I left the commentary
during the spoken introduction to 'Leaving Beirut'
because you can hear Roger's voice
(although covered by the fucking translation).

Sorry I didn't save his name but I like this guy
and thoroughly approve of his hatchet job on the DJs.
I include his cover art and just added details of the band.
Possibly a contender for best Waters line-up ever?

Roger Waters
Mercedes-Benz-Arena
Berlin, Germany
June 2nd 2018

I was lucky enough to see two shows during Roger's Us and Them tour.
This was the first one.

I remember a bunch of people outside the venue
representing the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.
They actually played live music and looked like a throw-back
to something you might have seen at the Isle of Wight festival in 1970.
Their banner said:
We support BDS
Roger supports BDS
How about you?
There was a community of semi-feral kids living under a nearby bridge.
Tents and bicycles. Looked almost post-apocalyptic
as they tried to hustle money from the passing gig-goers.
The concert was fantastic of course with Rog pulling no punches
in his never ending crusade to fight whatever he sees as injustice.
Even the confetti came with a message:

and here's AtticRock's ticket/confetti from the show in Lisboa:

This is an audience recording and it is brilliant.

Just had to get this one out of the way.
It's Roger Waters...I'm much more Waters
than Gilmour and don't think I could sleep
letting Dave have the last word.
Bedtime for me now.
Goodnight boys and girls :)

Titus
