Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers
Lockn' Festival
Oak Ridge Farm

Taken from a live stream thing which can still be seen on youtube.
Really good gig from Tom & Co. around three years before his death.

Target Center
Minneapolis, MN
August 3rd 1999

This is a really good gig and a top notch recording.
I recall seeing a blog that had a motto something like:
'We listen the shit so you don't have to'
As good a philosophy as any I suppose.

Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers
Studio A Capitol Records Tower
Hollywood CA.
KWST 106 FM
November 11th 1977 (broadcast date)

This was always a great recording.
However it suffered from that dreaded radio hiss.
There were two kinds of hiss.
An underlying basic "tape" hiss and a harsher "stage" hiss.
So I did two anti hiss passes based on their particular frequencies.
Now it is pretty much hiss-free (both consigned to hiss-tory).
No noticable detraction from the music.
Crank it up and dance around your room.
