Made (1972)
Reposted from December 2020.

I don't know if you Harper fans are aware that Roy dabbled as a film star in 1972.
It's actually quite good
A classic British 'kitchen sink' drama.

Roy Harper
NRK TV Studio
Oslo, Norway (1969)

Here's a gem from the Norwegian TV archives.
First broadcast by NRK1 on October 10th 1969 as "Plastic Fantastic ..."
(or so I'm told)

Reposted from September 2022

It's in B&W, as you can see from the screenshots,
but the quality of this copy is excellent
and the 28 year old hippy plays some nice guitar.
A must-have for any Harper fan.

Great show this one.
As I mentioned previously it won't play properly in my drive.
Tried it in another drive, however, and it ripped just fine.
Go figure?
After a couple of songs Roy says it is after midnight.
Makes me wonder how impromptu it was.
Can't imagine buying tickets in advance
with such a late start time...even in Hamburg!

Another show with Roy's son Nick.
Bit of a rowdy crowd on this but it may be of interest.
Almost sounds like it was recorded
by someone who is leaning on the bar.

Roy Harper
Theatr Gwynedd
Bangor, North Wales

This is a remastered soundboard.
It's a bit hissy in the quieter moments when Roy is talkng.
Noise reduction attempts did the recording no favours
so I decided against any such processing.
This tiny mp3 copy sounds really good though
and I can't imagine any Roy fan not enjoying it.

Roy Harper
Hall 1/The Sage
Gateshead, UK
March 20th 2019

This was billed as the last tour.
Roy is still on great form and it's nice
to hear him with other musicians for a change.
Roy struggles through Wolf at the Door
unable to remember the words
and even forgets the openning line to Cricketer!
but it's all part of his charm.
This is a pretty good audience recording
which I hope fans will enjoy.
I've got the lockdown blues today
and listening to this cheered me up a bit.

Here's something for Grizz:
Never had much info about this.
Exact date/venue is a mystery.
Sounds like audience recording.
It is pretty good sound-wise.
Only around 40 minutes.
I was looking at another show
from Hamburg 1988 but it turns out
my CD of that is completely screwed.
I guess I must have posted it years ago so
if anyone has a copy I'd appreciate a replacement.
Long shot I know but cannot find it anywhere.
