Lou and Laurie had been married since April 12th 2008.

Frank Zappa/Lou Reed

Marc Riley's Musical Time Machine

BBC Radio 4

A series which drew on archive interviews.

This one features the famously feuding Frank & Lou.

Some of the Zappa stuff was used in the 'Great Lives' broadcast.

Marc Riley is a bit too cocky for my liking.

Worth a listen if you like Frank/Lou.

Lou Reed and John Cale

Songs for Drella live (1990)

As a follow on from my previous post I thought I'd share this.

It's a film made by channel 4 and it's in mp4 format.

Lou and John perform the entire album.

Songs for Drella is a tribute to Andy Warhol and it is very much

something that falls into the 'soundtrack of my life' catagory.

Found this on an old hard drive.

FM sourced and not bad quality.

I normalised it, moved the interview from 01 to 06 (not normalised)

and changed the track tags.

With this line up you should guess it is not easy listening

but I know a few people who would consider this pure gold.

Laurie and Lou were married in 2008.

So it's a husband & wife team with John Zorn playing gooseberry/sax.
