Steve Hackett
City Hall
Sheffield, UK
June 17th 1980

FM sourced show. It has some radio distortion
in the quiet parts but is generally a good sound.
This is just after the release of Defector.
Strange to think this is over 40 years ago...time flies!
Probably more Hackett in the pipeline if you want it.
regards
Titus

  1. I honestly prefer his nostalgia Genesis that he performed during the last years. He's supposed to perform Seconds Out this autumn if the current epidemics permit. He had some albums that I really could not appreciate but will give a try to this concert early in his solo career. Thanks for sharing,

  2. I am a big early Genesis fan but I sometimes miss Steve playing solo material on recent tours. Have tickets for the Seconds Out tour but it has now been rescheduled for late next year

    1. I'm burning the cd's right now. Very good sound and the small radio distorsion is not an issue IMO. I like his early solo works too but was not convinced by jazz rock association with hungarian band Djabe. It was definitely not my type of music. Thanks for the info on the Seconds Out tour. I will check as I have tickets for the parisian date.
