Ladbrokes Holiday Village
Caister-on-Sea, England
October 1984
Thought I'd post this as a celebration of the life of Pete Way
who , I'm sure you all know, died last Friday aged 69.
First saw Pete play at the Free Trade Hall in Manchester.
That was in 1979 on UFO's No Place to Run tour
with the fabulous Paul 'Tonka' Chapman on guitar.
This was broadcast on Alan Freeman's Friday Rock Show.
Taken from the Kerrang Wooargh Weekender
which ran Oct 12th to 14th 1984.
Only 25 mins long and in low quality mp3.
Still sounds OK though.
regards
Titus

As a bonus...
A good quality copy of the awesome UFO
Don Kirshner appearance from 1975.
Give Her the Gun/Space Child/Doctor Doctor/Rock Bottom.
Waysted (tiny file)
UFO (somewhat larger file)
If I remember well, there's an amazing quality Nazareth concert from the same week-end. Wasn't Motorhead headlining ?
