Gomez
9:30 Club
Washington DC
June 22nd 2006
Another excellent NPR webcast.
Gomez are a real feel-good band with strong vocals
and this is a great setlist.
My first wife liked them.
After she drummed them into me
I reluctantly conceded they were quite good.
There are otherrs available in this series.
Maybe a couple I am semi-interested in.
However probably not as they are a pain in the arse to sort out.
Any request will possibly twist my arm though.

ReplyDeleteArctic Monkeys and Travis may be the ones I would be interested in.
I'll look into one of those over the weekend...and make sure you are in your house by 9pm!
ReplyDeleteYep, my son's apéritif starts at 17.30 and ends 20.30 for sure in order to go safely to bed... I don't know whether we are still allowed to watch TV after 9pm. :)
ReplyDeleteI think it is wrong. To make such a law requires election on that mandate. Guess you only have Equality and Fraternity now (maybe)
ReplyDeleteAm hoping people in France will go out on La Rue after 9pm. you have a long history of defiance. Do not let me down
