I wanted to give a mention to Sean Malone who died recently.

He was the bass player for prog metal band Cynic.

I am not well up on Cynic really

but Sean had a side project called Gordian Knot.

Now that I love!

The two albums he released under that name are very good and have some

great guests such as Steve Hackett, Trey Gunn and Bill Bruford.

So if that interests you check out Gordian Knot/Cynic.

Sean was only 50.
