The Tubes
Orpheum Theatre
Boston, MA
October 31st 1981

Reposted from December 2020

There seems to be quite a few good recordings from this tour.
This is a nice example. And hey! it's Halloween.
Mrs. Luxor and Bonzo would have been riding the broomstick.
Some tape flip/reel change moments but nothing too severe.
If I had the time at the moment I would have done
some more remastering on this but I am very busy
so that will have to wait for another time.
I'd like to give a heads up re Roger Steen.
He is a great guitarist and someone who
does not always get the recognition he deserves.
Plays some excellent stuff on this.
And Rick Anderson is a mean bass player.
Mr. Hate is a personal anthem for me.
"You'll never take me alive!" LOL
regards
Titus

  1. Hi Titus, I've got this great show somewhere, probably from Soundaboard years ago. I really like 'Don't want to wait anymore', the first time I saw them live I found the guitar solo really funny - I don't normally laugh at guitar solos.

  2. Not sure this one was ever on Soundaboard. Was probably on an earlier version of TLD though. It's a great gig. Another Tubes coming shortly which you may or may not have
