Anyone remember Play For Today?
It was a long running series of films made for the BBC in the 70s and 80s.
I collect them and have rarely seen a bad one.
The standard is very high and many great writers/directors etc.
launched their careers via this route.
Some films led on to full TV series follow-ons.
This is one I like a lot and it is sort of a prelude
to the celebrated Boys From The Blackstuff.
Suppose I ought to say...there is some violence in it.
