Slade
Young Vic Theatre, London
April 24th 1975

Classic foot-stompin' stuff from everyone's favourite 70s glam outfit.
I was a big fan as a boy. Remember being shocked when I read an
interview with Dave Hill and he said he'd like to open a boutique.
That was androgynous talk back in those days!
Dave would have been really good in Mott the Hoople.
Only saw them live once. That was at the Monsters of Rock
festival in Donington some time in the early 80s.
They were great and whipped up the afternoon crowd into a frenzy.
Excellent sound quality on this BBC broadcast.
