I racked my brain trying to remember/find this picture.
When I was eleven I bought this album thinking it was Genesis.
I know...laugh all you like.
Picture my face when I got it home and gave it a spin!
You can hear it...
not bad actually...in a way :)

Titus

  1. I think a lot of young Nirvana grunge freaks bought also by mistake the Nirvana sixties band LP's that were reissued just by chance when Nevermind made its planetary success round trip.

  2. I often bought secondhand records on the strength of the cover art. Always liked the Roger Dean artwork (for Yes, Greenslade etc), so having spotted an album by Osibisa with a Roger Dean cover, I payed my £2. Good though Osibisa may be, I was very disapointed the music wasn't very proggy. :-)

  3. I know what you mean. I like Osibisa but also was expecting spomething different as a kid going off their Roger Dean covers

  4. In my early teens I used the mellotron method. If it said they had one I might risk buying it.
