This post is about physicist Brian Cox.
I'm a big fan of both him and science in general.
Brian has written books and presented many programs.
One of his long running things is the BBC radio 4 series
'The Infinite Monkey Cage' which he co-hosts with comedian Robin Ince.
Here's a recent example for all you science-heads out there.
It's called, appropriately for this blog, A History of Rock.
I was surprised to be drawn to memories of Daevid Allen
when they get into the lick the moon/cheese bit.
You can get this episode here
Brian Cox was also a musician, in his past, as is mentioned in the program.
He played keyboards for D:Ream on their live shows (but not recordings)
and prior to that was in a band called 'Dare'.
You can get a DVD of Dare with Brian on keyboards here
(although you don't get to see that much of him)
Live in Essen 1989. (doesn't sound 'live' to me)
Those Germans record EVERYTHING!
Thanks Germans.
Which reminds me...I just finished re-watching the BBC TV series 'Colditz'.
Even better as an adult (LOL...Ed.) than it was as a youth.
Hans Meyer rules!
I thought about posting it as an ongoing soap-opera.
28 episodes...anybody want it?
regards
Titus
P.S. Dare are not that great/same for D:Ream
but it's interesting in hindsight. (only to you...Ed.)
