ZZ Top
Europe 1980-83 DVD
Following the sad news that Dusty Hill is no longer with us
I thought I'd pull this old DVD off the shelf.
Some great stuff on here.
The OGWT thing was what really broke them in the UK.
Everyone was talking about it the next day.
There's also a show performed at a Swedish dinner party :)
I've seen them live three times, at least, all in the early 80s.
Last one was in 1985 when they headlined the Monsters of Rock bash.
Funnily enough I have two tickets for this.
The other has the stub bit removed.
I guess this one belonged to a no-show friend.
Bet we promised to try'n sell his ticket for him
but once we got there we promptly forgot/couldn't be bothered.
Sorry mate...you know how it is.
We went to the first six Monsters of Rock festivals
and camped every time despite what it says on the ticket.
Goodbye Dusty
regards
Titus
Yet another fine ZZ Top post, and a memory flick to go with it - thanks, Titus!:)
