Barbara Thompson
Live at the BBC
Vol. 3
This one opens with a long 'serious' piece
followed by a performance from Barbara's 'Jubiaba' period.
I really like 'Black MacUmba'.
It sounds like the kind of thing teenagers
would dance to in an early 70s Hammer Horror film.
Just before they get bored and decide to conjour up the Devil.
"It'll be a trip man!" says 'first one to die'.
We end with two songs from 'Paraphernalia'
featuring Pepi Lemer on vocals.
Gets rather Zappaesque.
