Cheap Trick
Royal Oak
Detroit MI.
June 20th 1978

Here's an old one I shared in 2008 over on Soundaboard.
I ripped the CD and had a look at it.
There was lots of clipping and volume fluctuations
so I toned it down a bit, fixed those issues and cleaned up a couple of drop-outs.
It is FLAC but doesn't look lossless to me.
Limitations in the quality of the source tape are evident if you listen through headphones.
Great gig though from arguably their peak period.
I prefer this to 'Live at Budokan'.

BTW This is a very loud recording.
You have been warned!
regards
Titus

  1. Thanks for this one. Just to add that if they hadn't made the Budokan one, nobody would remember or know this band. Kind of one hit Live Album wonder ! Who said Peter Frampton ?

    1. The live album certainly brought them to wider attention but I think the Dream Police album is their finest work
