Queen
The Summit
Houston, Texas
December 11th 1977
Pro-shot footage. The film is a bit dark at times
but not too bad and it's an excellent gig
as you would expect from Queen in this era.
Load of shit really, I'm only posting things like this because
I suspect most of you are too thick to know what the good stuff is.
(is it too late to add a 'LOL' there?)
(I think it is...Ed.)
Sandy Pearlman once said something along the lines of:
"Queen took a certain strand of rock sensibility...and debased it".
Well said Sandy!

ReplyDeleteYou're certainly in the ballpark from my POV. But I know they are well loved by some
DeleteQueen fans?
ReplyDeleteThick I am but I also like the good stuff! Thanks for sharing!!
ReplyDeleteI'm thick too
DeleteWhatever nonsense is permitted over here, I still fondly remember when I heard Innuendo the first time on the radio late at night on RTL radio station. That was big and Innuendo is a song anyone should be jealous of. So, yes, up to the end, Queen was great ! IMHO
ReplyDeleteI admire your convictions Derek...you stand up for Queen!
