Two great shows. I preferred the Newcastle gig
because I felt the sound was better and the band were tighter.
Diz Busters was a very welcome surprise.
Cats in Space opened at both venues and were pretty good too.

  1. Great to hear that you had a good time. I think B.O.C. is the kind of band whose members love playing live and that rarely disappoints.

  2. Yesterday I saw The Black Crowes but the sound wasn't very satisfying.
The support band, DeWolff, a trio from the Netherlands, had better sound and was fantastic.

    1. I had tickets for Crowes but missed it...after losing track of the various rescheduled dates. Don't know DeWolff...will check them out

  3. Joan Crawford... mmmh, would have loved to hear that song. You lucky guy.

  4. No 'Last Days Of May', that's a pity. Cats In Space opening would've made it a great night.

    1. I saw them twice in 79 (11th/14th Nov) At the first one they played Astronomy. The crowd were given a vote at the 2nd gig. A choice between Astronomy or Last Days of May. Last Days won by a whisker. So there may be some tradition of those songs being an either/or. It might be rare to find a setlist with both?
