I remember in the mid 70s.
Playing in a band doing the working men's club circuit in the North East.
We did blues versions of Andy Williams hits.
One night the drumming sounded really good.
I turned around, and blow me!, it was only Bill Bruford!
He was standing in for our regular guy.
Said he needed the money.
