The weird and wonderful SGM.
It's the second recording I've posted of them at this venue.
The other being from 2004.
This one has (RIO Godfather) Fred Frith along for the ride
(Fred/Henry Cow being a major influence on Sleepytime's music)
and his opening solo spot is included.
'Last Human Being' is so like a Zappa composition.
Frank often comes to mind whenever I hear this band.
There's a touch of Virgin Prunes in there as well
...and, maybe, a pinch of Lou Reed.
This is an audience recording.
Remastered a while ago and I can't remember what I did
but it sounded OK when I listened to it this morning.
It may disturb you. It scares the willies out of me.
