Taken from a concert celebrating the music of Ian Carr.
Perhaps, best known for his band Nucleus.
The recording is in fine BBC Radio 3 quality.
Ian died on February 25th 2009
and this perfromance was a fitting tribute.
I've been listening to Ian/Nucleus a lot recently.
He was a talented musician, composer and teacher.
The musicians here include ex colleagues and pupils
who ensure justice is done to Ian's legacy.
