Suzi Quatro
L'Altro Mondo
Rimini, Italy
August 15th 1975
I see Suzi (73) has been touring recently.
This is an old soundboard which I've remastered.
The only American I can think of who was part of the 70s Glam Rock scene.
She was not very successful in the States.
The 'hits' are OK but they actually sound better on the rock n roll parts IMO.
Suzi married guitarist Len Tuckey the following year.

Love this concert - good sound - but how the hell did Suzi end up in a discotheque in RImini in those years. I guess they got lost touring around Europe without GPS tracking system. Ask the young guys if they still would be able to travel with only a paper map in their hands, without cellphone, etc.
ReplyDeleteWill give a listen to your remaster but I guess it's just small fixing.
BTW : my Mrs Derek dreams of reincarnating in a cat every day when she sees cat Lemmy lazing the whole day long.
I don't know about this particular gig but there seems to have been a lot of shows in Europe when 3 or 4 bands would play. You might get Mud. Suzi & The Rubettes. These pop/caberet gigs often turn up in unlikely places
