Robin Trower/Angel
K.B.F.H.

Another KBFH show remastered just for you.
Wonderful performance from the Trower band.
Angel are pretty good too as long as you don't look at them.
Zappa fans will be familiar with the song 'Punky's Whips'.
They were signed to Casablanca who also had KISS on their roster.
The execs at Casablanca obviously believed the future of rock was in cosmetics.
Here's a nice poster from 1976:

  1. Should anyone ask to me what would be the holy grail of bootleg recordings, I might say, well, well, ya know, that KBFH concert from Angel in 1976, the full concert recording in hi-fi audiophile quality !
The song The Fortune has a very special place in my rock'n'roll heart, near to Child in Time, Stairway to Heaven, The Faith Healer, Sebastian, Radar Love, Won't Get fooled Again, Fool's Overture or Freebird, and finally Ravel's Bolero by FZ, kind of songs that bring up a musical climax that shivers you deeply in your soul.
    Enough said,
Greetings from Paris in the early evening,
