Remastered WDR broadcast.
Jane were formed in Hanover, Germany around 1970.
All 70s German groups get saddled with the Krautrock label
(except for the Scorpions, also from Hanover)
but Jane's music is psychedelia with Pink Floyd stylings.
Keyboardist Werner Nadolny and drummer Peter Panka
currently front rival versions of the band.

ReplyDeleteI'm a big fan of Jane. In fact, I begged a girlfriend's Uncle to hunt down and bring back a copy of their Double Live Album when he went to Germany for his holidays (back in the 70's, when Australian record stores didn't stock much Krautrock - opps - German Psychedelia material). Needless to say, he did me the favour (top bloke) and in return I looked after his niece whilst he was abroad (wink, wink, nudge, nudge, say no more). Thanks for sharing this Titus
