November/Panta Rei
November (pictured below) were quite popular I believe.
Descibed as Sweden's first heavy metal band.
They sound a bit like Cream or early Led Zeppelin.
Perhaps a more dynamic vocalist would have benefitted them?
Not bad at all but I doubt Clapton or Page would have had anything to worry about
although bands from outside the UK/US cartel never had an even playing field anyway.
Panta Rei (Everything Flows...or something like that) are really good.
Inspired by the philosophy of Heraclitus.
Not to be confused with Panta Rhei, the Hungarian band.
(an easy mistake to make...Ed.)
First track reminds me of Canned Heat.
It goes on a real journey after that!
You wouldn't believe it was all the same band.
They only made one (excellent) LP at the time.
There was a reunion album in the mid 2010s.
