Ulf Lundell och Nature
Ulf Gerhard Lundell (born November 20th 1949)
is a Swedish writer, poet. composer, musician and artist
...so there!
A heavy drinker in the 80s and a somewhat controversial figure
who has argued with everyone from neo-nazis, feminists and communists
to colleagues and music journalists.
His debut album Vargmåne (1975) saw him hailed as "Sweden's Bob Dylan".
'Öppna landskap' (Open Landscapes) one of his most famous songs,
has been playfully proposed as Sweden's new national anthem.
Here he is with regular backing band Nature in 1976
around the time of the second album Törst.
Nature always play well and the music is great/varied.
I don't speak Swedish so I can't comment on Ulf's lyrical genius.
regards
Titus
