Southside Johnny & the Asbury Jukes
with Ronnie Spector
The Bottom Line
New York
June 14th 1977
Remastered FM.
I saw Johnny and the Jukes in 1979
as one of the opening acts for Led Zeppelin at Knebworth
and they made a lasting impression on me.
Probably the first time I'd seen a band with a full horn section.
This is a great show with, special guest, Ronnie Spector
and we even get a Billy Joel song.
regards
Titus

Amazingly, I was fond of the album Trash It Up from 1983 with Nile Rodgers from Chic. A great album that Johnny himself did not appreciate. But I did.
ReplyDeleteGreat artist he is and love both his Spitting Fire and Reach Up and Touch the Sky live albums. Both are great.
Thanks for this remaster.
Greetings from Paris under grey skies,
