Kaipa/Horizont/Dice
I'm a big fan of Kaipa/Hans Lundin (far right).
Here's very early Kaipa with a 22 year old Roine Stolt on guitar.
Stolt (far left) went on to form The Flower Kings.
Lundin's Kaipa albums, from 2002's 'Notes from the Past' onwards
in particular, are all essential listening for prog devotees.
Horizont are really good too.
Sometimes compared to Camel.
Guitarist Jonas Isacsson went on to play with Roxette in the 90s.
Dice (not to be confused with the Australian indie outfit)
are the most ambitious and talented of the three bands featured
with some excellent Genesis/Gentle Giant/ELP style complexities.
