Sly & The Family Stone
Swing In DVD
The Lyceum
London, UK
September 13th 1970

Sly Stone died yesterday aged 82.
The audio on this was really poor. like a transistor radio.
I did my best to improve the sound quality.
Let us mark his passing and celebrate his life.
regards
Titus

  1. My first introduction to Sly was via his Woodstock performance, like many other people I'm sure, and always loved it when 'Dance To The Music' came on the radio airways. Sly and Family's music was so infectious and fun to listen to. Funk and Soul will never be the same without him. RIP Sly and thanks for the music. AR2

  2. proto-punk if there ever was! the intensity level is over the top throughout! female vocalist also the trumpeter. the chaotic, in-their-face camera work makes it all hyper-immediate. fantastic, thanks titus and RIP the brilliant sly stone!
