Albert Bouchard
The Imaginos Demos
Despite the billing Albert wrote:
Please folks. This is not the demos. The demos sound better.
This is mostly the rough mixes of the basic tracks.
Imaginos was originally intended to be the first in a trilogy of solo albums
by Blue Öyster Cult drummer and songwriter Albert Bouchard
after he was fired from the band in August 1981.
CBS rejected the album in 1984, but a re-worked version
was eventually published as a product of the band in 1988.
Albert Bouchard and Sandy Pearlman set up the recording
of the basic tracks for the first album of the trilogy in June 1982,
with sound engineers Corky Stasiak and Paul Mandl
at Kingdom Sound Studios in Long Island, New York,
and at The Boogie Hotel, a studio owned by the rock band Foghat,
which was located in a large Victorian mansion in Port Jefferson, New York.
At the same time and in the same facilities, Blue Öyster Cult
were recording the album The Revölution by Night.
This is my remastered edition.
Ripe enough for the Luxor dream.

Titus
