Dino Valenti (1968)
Chester William Powers, Jr. changed his name to Dino Valenti
and was about to form Quicksilver Messenger Service in 1966
when he was arrested for possesion of marijuana.
Dino spent two years in prison for this offence.
On his release he opted to record this solo album.
The solo career did not flourish so he eventually returned to QMS.
His adopted name was misspelled 'Valente' on the cover.
Some suggest this was deliberate and done out of spite
by company execs who didn't like him for some reason.
I took the opportunity to rectify that.

Titus
