It occurred to me how formal declarations of war are no longer in vogue.
The only examples I could find since the USA entered WWII are:
Somalia (1977): declared war on Ethiopia during the Ogaden War.
Iran (1980): declared war on Iraq, starting the Iran-Iraq War.
Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (Western Sahara)
declared war on Morocco in 2020.
I'm waiting for Trump's lawyers to argue
that no war crimes have been committed against Venezuela
as they are not technically at war.
I agree, let's just call it murder.
