The refugee crisis in Europe has been much commented on for decades, if a civil war in Iran takes hold for years, surely the refugee crisis will explode in so many ways. I doubt that the USA will take in millions of Iranians fleeing the country.
ReplyDeleteThere are many potential issues. The Gulf coast countries (GCC) rely heavily on imported foods. These are exactly the places Iran is targeting. Water is also scarce. Being oil rich most have invested in expensive desalination plants. Those facilities are very vunerable to attack. FIFA World Cup 2026 June 16th Iran vs New Zealand (SoFi stadium, Inglewood, CA) hmmm...not gonna happen is it?
