Early Thatcher-era Hawkwind patched and repaired.
(which took ages especially on Motorway City)
What's not to like? (apart from Thatcher)
Simon King would soon be sacked for bad time keeping.
I'm not sure if that means he couldn't keep the beat
or had a punctuality issue...probably both :)
Huw Lloyd Langton adds some 'proper rock' lead guitar.
Saw Huw play at a tiny local venue in the mid 80s.
He was quite good but turned up very badly prepared.
Audience members had to nip home to get him a distortion pedal because his was broken
and batteries/guitar leads were similarly crowd-sourced.
Eventually we managed to get him equipped and reasonably functioninal.
