Steve Goodman

Nice show from, C&W legend, Steve who's guests include Billy Joel on piano

and Warren Zevon on drums (I've posted Warren's opening set previously).

Goodman died from leukaemia in 1984 aged 36.

He was a lifelong fan of the Chicago Cubs baseball team

and wrote several songs about them.

In 1988 some of his ashes were scattered at Wrigley Field (home of the Cubs)

mirroring Steve's lyrics to 'A Dying Cubs Fan's Last Request'.
