Blue Öyster Cult
The Renfrew Ferry
Glasgow, Scotland
July 18th 2006

I've always had a soft spot for this show.
It is sometimes known as Haggis Förbid
but that joke has grown tired for me over the years.
It's a passenger ferry from 1952 restored to contain a kitchen,
bar and glass/steel atrium for live gigs.
This is an audience recording and the crowd are very lively.
But I like the vibe...feels like you are there.
You don't suppose they have been drinking alcohol do you?
Heaven forbid!
Great 14 minute version of Last Days of May.
BÖC  afloat...how cool is that?
I also have the following night's show in Southampton
but it is in mp3 and not the greatest recording.
However I will post it if anyone would like to hear it.
regards
Titus

  1. Had a listen to it last night and you are right the sound and overall feel is very good, sounds like you are close up to the band.
Even though it's an audience recording they don't spoil what is a very good listen and the quality is good
    thanks for this
