Steve Hackett
De Boerderij, Zoetermeer, Holland
April 16th 2017

Not posted any Hackett for...hmmm...must be days.
So here we go...
Really liked this tour, not least, because Steve
resurrected Inside and Out which is a favourite
of mine and sadly overlooked as it did not appear
on an album but was only released on the Spot the Pigeon EP.
Should have been on Wind and Wuthering.
And Darktown is brilliant so nice to hear Rise Again.
This is a top quality audience recording
and I decided not to further remaster as it doesn't need it.
So for once you can't blame me.
The original source said he applied "some EQ"
I think it needs more treble and compression...but hey.. No!
Just crank it up to the volume you like/your wife or husband will tolerate.
My wife's favourite Genesis albums are
1 Trespass 2 Wind and Wuthering...go figure?
Roger King can play the intro to Firth of Fifth,
Tony Banks can't.
P.S. wife came home mid listen "too loud" she said.
regards
Titus
