Ken Hensley keyboardist/guitarist/songwriter
of Uriah Heep fame died in November.
I remember as a boy buying Pink Floyd's Relics LP
partly because it was very cheap!
However it was scratched and jumped.
I asked my Mum if she would take it back.
Adding that if they did not have another copy I would take, the very expensive,
Magician's Birthday by Uriah Heep instead.
My Mum was a friend of the woman who ran this particular record shop
and, not having another Relics in stock exchanged it for the Heep album
at no extra charge...result!
I bloody hammered it as you can imagine.
Brian Matthew did a kind of music news slot on the radio.
This one  is from 1977 with special guest Ken Hensley.
Ken is interviewed between news items/chewing gum adverts
A bit of history for you.
regards
Titus

  1. Cool, I kinda collect radio shows so I'm getting this one.
In return here's a recent program from a Planet Rock special featuring Ken Hensley circa 2016. Seemed to me like a good/honest guy.
