Steve Hackett & friends
Osaka-jō Hall
Osaka, Japan
December 19th 1996

A superstar line-up that no doubt raked in
a bit of much needed cash at the time.
Hackett has said they only rehearsed for
ten days or so and it shows at times.
I think all of them have uncomfortable moments,
'tentative' might be the operative word.
They played four shows in Japan
and this is the best one I've heard.
Still a good romp and when they sort of jam a bit
it gets quite good.
Sound quality is very nice.
The personnel, for those who don't know,
was Steve Hackett, John Wetton, Chester Thompson,
Ian McDonald and Julian Colbeck.
regards
Titus
