Suzanne Vega
Theatersaal der Universität
Bremen, Germany
October 14th 1985

Remastered FM.
A very good recording overall and beautiful music.
Regular visitors will know I don't often write "very good".
This is a relitively small venue,
I  suppose it's fair to say she was 'breaking' at this point.
It's great with a band but she was even better as an unknown solo act.
The 1984 show I posted highlights the difference.
With band or solo?

Titus

  1. My choice goes to full band version. I know by experience that I sometimes get tired of those Melanie, Joan Baez, Suzanne Vega solo concerts... And sometimes not... :)
Today is full heavy drum bass guitar day, it's Sunday and it was BBQ day.

  2. WTF, a comment on a 6th of July post ? Well yes, it takes time sometimes to download, listen, appreciate, burn to CD, listen again and tell the whole TLD gathering, that this recording is a must have, a should listen, a marvelous experience of high quality recording and spirited music. So yes, all the TLD community should have this CD on their shelf and whomever enters their house should have a listening experience to Suzanne.
    Greetings from Paris,
    Derek
