Slade
Reading Festival
England
August 24th 1980

Remastered FM.
There's a cut in 'Mama Weer All Crazee Now'
and 'Born to be Wild' is from a later, lower quality, broadcast.
trivia:
Slade never had a number one hit single in Germany.

The Germans preferred Sweet and James Last.

    1. I saw them at the Donington festival in 1981 and they pretty much stole the show.

    2. Saw them back end of last century with Sweet in Kortrijk (Belgium) . Much of fun with this double bill.

    3. Was that 1999 Derek? I've tried to research a bit but there is little info. Some possible references to Slade ( Boerenrock festival in Kortenaken?) but nothing on Sweet

    1. Ah, a bit later than your "back end of last centuary" boast :)
