The Dictators
Court Tavern
New Brunswick, NJ
April 23rd 1999
Remastered soundboard.
The recording was marred by static/crackles.
I managed to mitigate a lot of the problems but it's still noticeable
especially during 'Haircut and Attitude' which was impossible to fix/patch.
Don't let my fussiness put you off...this rocks!
The band are fearsomely tight.
Ross is the Boss.
D.F.F.D.
I'll dedicate this post to Mike L.

The Dictators – always welcome here – greetings and thanks from Georg in Giessen
ReplyDeleteCheers Georg. Gießen is the home of the 'Botanischer Garten Gießen' established in 1609 which is the oldest botanical garden in Germany still at its original location. But hey you knew that right? :)
DeleteSo I just learned something new again. Thanks for that. Maybe I should visit "den Botanischen Garten" for the first time in my rather long life.
DeleteSometimes the best things are right under our noses... and that's why we (i) overlook them ...
The great old Court Tavern! I played there a few times in our band in the mid eighties. Good times there.
ReplyDeleteIt certainly has the vibe of a classic small venue.
Deletethis is great titus, thanks!
