The Shuttered Room (1967)
Loosely inspired by a H. P. Lovecraft story,
The slightly weak plotline is more than compensated for
by the brooding performance of, professional ne'er-do-well, Oliver Reed.
This film has a Hammer horror vibe but without the kitsch.
People of a certain age tend to vaguely remember it :)
