The Tubes
Record Plant (Sausalito, CA)
June 2nd 1974
A recording from before the first album.
Interesting early arrangement of Mondo Bondage
and some songs that never appeared on official releases.

ReplyDeletehey titus, any chance for a re-up?
ReplyDeletethe boston 81 show sounds superb btw, thank you much!
i saw the band twice on that tour and was hooked...great costumes and theatrics but such great musicians to back it up!
thanks in advance if you can.

ReplyDeletemany thanks titus!
Deletegrabbed before reading your post...and yes roger steen is indeed overlooked. an alex lifeson sort of player with elite chops and a broad vocabulary. yes to rick. musn't leave out prarie prince - great, great drummer...he was on a sliding, rotating platform on the '81 tour, wearing a business suit. cool visual!
cheers!
